New York Auto Insurance

New YorkNew York auto insurance is required of everyone driving within the state of New York as it relates to liability insurance for all NY motorists on all highways, freeways and public roads within the state. New York makes this a requirement to protect its citizens from uninsured motorists causing accidents and not having the protection to pay for the events of their own incident.

As far as insurance is concerned, New York is a no-fault state… meaning that the insurance company will pay for you no matter who was at fault. If you were in an accident, it does not matter who was at fault… if you have no-fault insurance your auto insurance company will pay for the bills.
